There are many forms of policy that University administrators create; a main portion of which addresses crises such as sexual assault violations, school shootings and suicide. The federal government has a role in the development of policy, which Title IX and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) demonstrate. Crisis Management Teams (CMT’s), comprised of teachers, administrators, and other university faculty are committees who, on behalf of the university, implement the policies written by the government. In the early 1930s, government officials from the local, state and federal level of the United States deported up to half a million Mexican and Mexican-Americans. How did government officials justify these repatriations? Beginning with the onset of the Great Depression, these deportations were designed to provide employment to out-of-work whites and to free up resources being spent on unemployed people of Mexican descent. Some of the deportees were Mexican citizens, and others were American citizens of Mexican heritage. One might not realize that blockbuster movies can be used as an educational tool in the classroom setting to enhance the learning process. While these types of movies are not crafted as pedagogical tools, like animated, demonstrative video clips, there is educational value to be found in them. National student loan debt reached $1.2 trillion in 2015. With forty million Americans carrying an average student loan debt of $27,000, many are demanding change to the current system, and are looking to the 2016 Democratic and Republican presidential primary candidates for a solution. When candidates campaign for office they address many public policy issues in their speeches and frame these issues in particular ways to attract support. In the post 9/11 world countering terrorism has become a top United States foreign policy priority as well as the subject of much scholarly research. To counter terrorism it is important to understand the inner-workings of such groups. How do terrorist groups fund their operations in order to be able to carry them out continuously?
