Many reports showed that after using chlorhexidine mouthwash especially in the present of some food, caused stain deposit on teeth. The purpose of this study is to compare the difference of the stain on acrylic teeth between chlorhexidine 0.2 percent in acid and base solution in the persent of coffee, tea, tannin, cocoa and colour syrup. The result shows no difference between the two.(มีรายงานการเกิดคราบสีบนฟันหลังจากการใช้ยาอมบ้วนปากคลอเฮกซิดีน โดยเฉพาะเมื่อมีสารอาหารบางอย่าง การทดลองนี้เพื่อต้องการศึกษาผลของการใช้ กาแฟ ชา แทนนิน โกโก้ และน้ำหวานสีแดง ร่วมกับ ยาอมบ้วนปากคลอเฮกซิดีน 0.2% ที่เป็นกรด เปรียบเทียบกับน้ำยาที่เป็นด่าง ในการเกิดคราบสี ผลปรากฏว่าไม่มีความแตกต่างกันระหว่างยาอมบ้วนปากทั้งสองชนิด)
