It is almost trite to refer to the stunning growth of our population and the related expansion of our economy. Not only are there many more Americans for whom health services are to be provided, but many of these fall into the category of the very young and old who require the greatest amount of medical services. The increasing rise in the levels of education and personal income have not only made people aware of what health services are available but also have resulted in their making effective demands for these services.
