Using a context-based case-control trial, 41 adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomized into four groups to complete dietary assessments (computerized or interviewer administered) at 0, 2 and 8 weeks and food records at 0 and 2 weeks. Repeatability of reported energy, total fat, saturated, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids between the computerized and interviewer administered methods were assessed using repeated measures ANOVA. Paired t-tests and Pearson's correlations determined relative validity of the assessments.

Modern integrated medical curricula usually do not include a separate pathology course. Consequently, there is a risk that important pathological principles may be omitted. We aimed to ensure that pathology is properly represented by developing a core pathology curriculum created in consultation with local pathologists. Appropriate information technology to track the delivery of this material within the integrated curriculum structure was developed using a learning content management system in which a metadata schema was constructed. This paper reports on one of a series of studies exploring the marketing strategies utilised byleading Australian food companies that produce and distribute foods that are predominantlyconsumed by children, and consumer responses to these practices. The focus is on the use ofsport and sporting celebrities to promote food products and the influence of these promotionson the food attitudes and preferences of young people. The qualitative research with children(6-12 years) and teens (12-14 years) supports results from previous research that brandingmay have an influence on food preferences.
