Internet of Things (IoT) is about augmenting the existing power of the Internet beyond computers and smartphones to a whole range of other things, processes, and environments involving living or non-living species. It can bring life to the objects and enable them to communicate. This study presents the bibliometric analysis and science-mapping analysis on IoT. The data were extracted from the Web of Science (WoS) database from 1989–2019.
