The study investigated Librarians’ ICT skills and Effective Library Service Delivery in University Libraries in Rivers State, Nigeria. The study adopted a correlational research design. Three objectives and three research questions guided the study and three null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The population of the study was 56 comprised librarians in the five university libraries in Rivers State from which purposive sampling technique was used to select three university libraries in Rivers State. This study investigated the ICT self-efficiency skills of library staff in selected public universities in southwest Nigeria. The aim of the study is to know the level of ICT self-efficiency skills of the library staff in carrying out their library services. The study considered twelve (12) public academic libraries comprising both state and federal universities. The purpose of this study was to measure the number of contributions and highlight the contributions made by the researchers in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and published on the Web of Science database during 2016-2020 using scientometric analysis. Data were interpreted by using software such as Bibexcel, Vosviewer, and tabulated using MS Excel. The results indicated that 8103 papers were published during 2016 - 2020 and the highest number of publications 2067 (25.51%) was produced in 2020. The trends in multi-authored papers have tremendously increased (90.40%) compared to (09.60%) single-authored papers. The relative growth rate (0.84) …

This study examined how effective the ICT gadgets are used in securing books in academic libraries and what technological approach the libraries will adopt in the future to ensure books are secured from mutilation and theft. The study was also to understand why students steal or mutilate books. A semi-structured interview was the qualitative research design used to collect data from six librarians.
