This study aims to measure the effect of bank credit financing to value-added of manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This study uses the data of manufacturing industry sub-sector level. The data used are sub-sector credit, value added, labor, fixed capital, the minimum wage, the exchange rate, and the Gross Domestic Produc. This study period is 2002 – 2012 and using a Two-Stage Least Square with Fixed Effect as a estimation methode. Finally, the results showed that the significant effect of bank credit financing to encourage value-added manufacturing industry in Indonesia.

The purpose of this research is to provide recommendations to government in taking efficiency measures on public spending in order to increase budget allocation for the environment. Stunting is an indicator for chronic nutritional status that can provide a picture of overall socio-economic disruption in the past, starting from six months old infant and continue until the age of 18 years and can not be corrected again. The implication of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 is free mobilization of goods, services, labours, and capital among the member countries. This encourages Indonesia to strengthen its commitments on the construction service sector. This study aims to map Indonesia's commitments in the construction service sector under the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS) with Hoekman Index and investigates the impacts on the macroeconomic and sector performances. Expanding financial access is one among many ways in developing financial sector. This study analyzed the connection of communities characteristics to the access of financial institution which can be used in establishing the accurate development strategy of financial inclusion. This study used three approaches: descriptive analysis, factorial analysis, and path analysis based on questionnaires distributed to 600 respondents across Province of Bali. The result of the study shows that the most important factor in developing financial access is quality, especially the speed of transaction. Moreover, individual quality improvement in either education or wealth stimulates the utilization of branchless banking services.

Discrepancy of income between regions in South Sumatera province which tend to increase indicating high inequality. This study aims to analyze income convergence year 2006-2012 with sigma convergence and beta conditional convergence. The result with FD GMM show the existence income convergence and require 22 years to decrease half inequality by involving human capital and physic capital, that show slow process the convergence. Long road with small contribution to GDP per capita, causing slow income convergence. Hence, human capital and physic capital that existing especially long road should be optimized to accelerate income convergence between regions in South Sumatra province.

West Java province's junior secondary school enrollment rate is still below the Millennium Development Goal of universal primary education by 2015. Panel data of 26 districts in West Java, Indonesia, was used to analyze the determinant factors of junior secondary school enrollment rate. The study shows that GRDP per capita and education level of the household head positively influence junior secondary enrollment rate, in contrast poverty rate and number of child labour had negative impact. This study is conducted to develop a model that can be used to estimate the VAT revenue potential, tax gaps, and the impact of policy changes using the Input-Output Table. The amount of VAT revenue projection generated by this model is close to the VAT revenue realization. The result of this study shows that the VAT compliance rate is only around 53%. Improving VAT compliance rate would generate a higher impact on VAT revenue as compared with raising the VAT rate. Sustainability of System of Rice Intensification (SRI) requires rural institution role. The study was conducted in Karawang and uses institutional economics approach and logit regression. The analysis shows potential problems of SRI related with principal-agent/institutional relation and economics transaction costs. Strengthening the activities within farmer groups will reduce economics transaction costs in beginning of application. Farmer will choose "bagi hasil/revenue sharing" as land management cooperation with moderate risks and transaction costs. Pro-poor growth program has not been effective reducing poverty in Papua because the government does not have complete information about the spatial variation of poverty-causing factors (spatial heterogeneity). Therefore, this study will analyze poverty-causing factors using Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) model. This study finds that the influence of the cultivated land area, use of technical irrigation, source of drinking water, and the electrical infrastructure vary spatially. In additions, multivariate K-means clustering shows that subdistricts are spatially clustered by geographical conditions. These results imply that poverty alleviation interventions should be different for different areas.

Fiscal decentralization can create efficiency and effectiveness to promote growth and change in economic structures as well as to reduce inequalities amongst regions. This study intends to find out whether the fiscal decentralization policies during 2001-2010 contribute to the shift of economic sectors and inequality rates amongst districts/municipalities in the Province of Central Sulawesi. Kemiskinan Dan Migrasi: Analisis Data Sakerti 2000 Dan 2007, Aulia Nabila, Elda L. Pardede

This paper aims to analyze the effect of poverty on migration by using the IFLS 2000 and 2007 data. The results of binary and multinomial logistic regressions on all adults, adults in urban areas, and adults in rural areas show that the poor are less likely to migrate than the non-poor except for the case of urban to urban migration, where the poor are more likely to migrate than the non-poor. The results for other economic characteristics such as total value of assets and land ownership for farming consistently show that better economic conditions lower the probability to migrate.

This research identified and analyzed school participation of children in Indonesia from 7 to 15 years old. Using data collected by Survey Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) in 2012, probit model estimates that there are more probabilities in boys rather that girls to leave their education. As well as living environment supported, citizen have more well educated children than villagers. Elementary schools had been highly needed to fulfil school supply so that out-of-school-children level will drop as low as possible. But an increase in junior high school supplied will not turned out as it applied on elementary schools.
