The limited number of resources that humanity has creates the responsibility of protecting those resources and transferring them to future generations. It is vital that the natural, cultural and historical assets that form the basis of the tourism sector can be sustained without being consumed by excessive use. Research is aimed to investigate the attitudes of the local people, one of the key stakeholders of tourism, towards sustainable tourism development.
