The goal of this study was to comprehend how case studies are used to analyze strategy as practice perspective phenomena inside organizations. Through a narrative review, associated with a systematic analysis of the literature, we revisited papers published in high index management journals that have presented the case study as method to analyze phenomena from the strategy as practice perspective. We understand that the case study method was used appropriate to analyze in-depth phenomena concerning the perspective of strategy as practice.
