The issue of domestic violence is of great concerns and the impact on children is becoming more widely acknowledged. This social issue contains many consequences and ramifications and a wider understanding of children’s needs are emerging. With this growing recognition the importance to meet this children’s needs have been identified. This qualitative study explored how school social workers support children impacted by domestic violence through six (n = 6) semi-structured interviews. The purpose of this systematic review is to answer the question, “what interventions can school social workers implement to improve high school graduation rates for Black male students?” The first phase of this project included an examination of the existing research surrounding the achievement gap in American schools. Individuals with dementia experience many symptoms as the illness progress. Some of the common symptoms of dementia are memory loss, depression, anxiety, agitation, and aggression. Non-pharmacological interventions can help alleviate the common symptoms of dementia. Some of these interventions include therapies, relaxation techniques, and creative activities.
