Globally it is estimated that there are 285 million persons living with some sort of vision related difficulties. In Ghana, about 737,743 Ghanaians living with disabilities (Ghana Statistical Service, 2012). Library users opinion about library professional staff help to users in university library: a study in deemed to be university libraries, Andhra Pradesh, India. In this study distributed 1164 questionnaires to library users and received 1030 responses, the response rate is 88%. The study revealed that the response rate among the faculty fluctuated between 71 and 100, among the research scholars it ranged between 68 and 91 percent and among Post Graduate students it varied between 84 and 95 percent. It is clearly evident from the responses of users that majority of them visited the library for borrowing library books. …

The Study examined usefulness of library and Information Services in Deemed to be University libraries in Andhra Pradesh. In this study the questionnaires were circulated among 1164 library users (nearly 20% of the Universe) (faculty members, research scholars and postgraduate students) out of whom 1030 responses were received representing 88 percent of the total sample to whom the questionnaire was distributed. It is evident from the analysis that majority of users opinioned book lending service as effective. This exhibition project addresses the central question: How can we creatively transform academic library spaces to support and engage students in critical information literacy? The project used physical library space to install a series of exhibitions at the San Marcos Campus Library of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. This research paper investigates the perspectives of students’ of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) towards computer and pen-on-paper examination. Questionnaires were used to generate data. The data collected targeted students of three selected Study Centre .300 questionnaires which consist of 200-400 level of students of the three selected study Centre were administered .Response rate of 240 out of 300 representing 80% of the total questionnaires obtained for data analysis. Following the trend of repurposing library space to meet modern user needs, Western University is undergoing a planned revitalization and renovation of its largest library on campus. As a result, 500,000 items will need to be shifted to other locations or off-site storage. The article presents a scientometric picture of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. The analysis was carried out on the data extracted in the form of 1908 records extracted from Web of Science during 2001-2019. However for testing of Lotka’s law all the records i.e. 4212 available 1989 were used. An annual growth is highlighted in the study period. The article draws attention to annual growth of publication output, co-authorship network, distribution of publication output on the basis of various subject categories, leading collaborative institutes and countries. Further, the co-authorship network and co-occurrence of keyword analysis have been depicted through VOS-viewer.

This chapter explores the role of information literacy in virtual or hybrid place-based interdisciplinary courses. Whether teaching as a guest lecturer or as a co-instructor, I infuse information literacy competencies into assignments, relying on the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. Four of the six frames of the Framework map especially well to interdisciplinary teaching and learning: information has value, authority is contested and contextual, research as inquiry, and searching as strategic exploration. In 2018, Ithaka S+R began a new research program investigating scholars’ undergraduate teaching practices. As a first foray in this program, we looked at the teaching practices and needs of instructors teaching in business and business related disciplines. The present research paper pertains to the bibliometric analysis of literature on Artificial Intelligence during the year 1986-2015. The main objectives of the research work are to explore the academic research/review publication contributed by the Scientists and Subject experts from the Engineering background. The data/information used in this study has been proclaimed from the online database “Scopus”. The following terms were used as keywords to retrieve the data from the “Scopus” are (TITLE-ABS-KEY-AUTH (artificial intelligence) AND PUBYEAR > 1985 AND PUBYEAR < 2015 AND (LIMIT-TO (SUBJAREA,"ENGI”))). The study has revealed and discussed on the major parameters of yearly publication, citation pattern, a bibliographic form of publication, highly contributed authors, top-ranking authors, etc. The foremost results of our study have found that during the study period 2676 research publications were contributed by the Indian authors in the Engineering discipline.

This paper is a scientometric study focus on the publications on the title of e-resources based on Scopus database during the period of 1993-2018. A total 167 research articles were published on the title e-resources during the study period. The maximum numbers of publications 24 were published in 2013 followed by 21 in the year 2012. A fluctuation was found in annual growth rate during the period of study. The highest AGR is in the year 2009 with 800. The study investigated utilization and attitude of Kabale national teachers college students towards use of library materials. The survey research design was used in the study. The population is 200 registered users randomly sampled. The questionnaire was used to collect data, 200 copies of the questionnaire were distributed, 196 were returned, while 184 were found suitable for analysis.
