This article distinguishes between a philosophy and a theory of reference services. Philosophy explores why practitioners do something, whereas theory explores the actual practice without necessarily reflecting on the why behind it. The authors argue that a personal philosophy of reference services is needed, as librarians’ values ultimately drive the reference services they provide. Much of the current literature on this topic explores theories of reference services as opposed to the philosophies behind them. The study examined the cataloging and classification training of users in library and information science and their use of library catalogs at the Kwara State University Library, Nigeria. The work surveyed staff discipline in academic libraries in Delta State. It was guided by four objectives of the study. The goal of this study was to find out more about how people feel about cloud computing in general and how well they understand it. The study was designed to ascertain the utilization of media resources for instructions among library educators in adult learning centers in Awka South LGA. A descriptive survey research design was used for the study. The sample population comprised of 14 adult educators selected randomly from adult learning center in Awka South LGA using the purposive sampling technique. A structured questionnaire on a four (4) – point Likert scale was used for collection of data.
