Abstract

The main aim of the study is to know the use of e-journals among the faculty members and students in engineering college libraries. The results of the study show that the students and faculty members who participated in this survey are aware of e-journals and majority of the respondents used e-journals for study and project dissertation work. Most of the faculty members and students used e-journals in libraries. The survey respondents opined that the e-journals are easy to access and use as compared to print journals. This study aimed firstly to provide a rough estimate of the effects of the economic crisis on five European national libraries (Austria, Denmark, Malta, Portugal and Spain). Secondarily it sought to establish the possible benefits for these libraries of having a strategic plan during that period. The approach consisted in an online survey targeting the directors of European national libraries with membership in the Conference of European National Librarians. The objective here is first, to analyze the components of the trends of publishing, topics, methodology, authors status and references to the articles of the subject journal; and, next, to compare the content and structure of this journal with the criteria of new regulations on determining the credibility of the Iranian scientific journals. This study is run through a quantitative content analysis and evaluative methods. The statistical population consists of 372 published articles between 2011 and 2018. This paper discusses how the Leonard Lief Library at Lehman College is documenting its renovation via the social media platform Instagram. It discusses the origin of project, why we chose Instagram and how we chose to highlight that social media platform on our Library’s web page. We explain what choices we have made and what strategies we chose to effectively document the renovation. We also discuss the challenges we have encountered, and how we overcame those challenges to reach student audiences in new and engaging ways.

The people of Cireundeu Village are known to hold firm Sundanese wiwitan customs and traditions of ancestral heritage that contain local wisdom. The tradition of eating cassava rice has been carried out by indigenous peoples for a hundred years since 1918 for generations.
