This study discusses the influence of locus of control, work motivation and information use on decision making of managers in the aviation industry in Nigeria. The survey research design and multi-stage sampling technique were used to select 2726 postgraduate students from 16 Nigerian universities. The study gives an insight into awareness and use of lobbying and advocacy as strategic approach for improving library and information services in Nigeria with special reference to libraries in Imo state. A well-structured questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection with a sample size of forty (40).
