The study was undertaken to determine the Availability and Utilization of Electronic Information Database for Research by Agricultural Scientists in federal universities in North Central, Nigeria. The instruments used were questionnaire and documentary records. Data were analysed using frequency distribution tables; percentage, mean and standard deviations. The population of this study was 415 scientifically distributed among the schools and faculties of Agriculture of the various universities covered by this study. Survey method was used for the study. Abstract:

This study examined the challenges of information literacy skills capacity building for the lawmakers in the South West Nigeria. Survey method was adopted for this using questionnaire as instrument for data collection. 177 legislators participated from the six states of assembly in South-West Nigeria through total enumeration to determine the number of lawmakers in the study. The questionnaire titled ``Lawmakers’ Information Literacy Skills and Constituency Performance in South-West Nigeria (LILSCP)” were distributed to responded, out of which 151 usable copies were returned to the researcher. The rural women in Tanzania lack access to information on treatment of Obstetric Fistula, as a result, they face many problems such as social isolation, stigmatization, humiliation, rejection by their husbands and relatives. This study was undertaken to investigate the information needs and information seeking behavior of the researchers in Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, Ilorin, Kwara State. The study used questionnaire and interview method to obtain data from the respondents. Out of the sixty copies of questionnaire distributed to respondents, fifty-three copies were returned and found useable for the study.
