The study investigates the use of electronic resources by postgraduate students in University of Cape Coast (UCC). It specifically targets first year postgraduate students of UCC. Awareness, usage, training, and access were explored. A survey method was employed and a structured questionnaire was utilized to solicit data. The findings revealed that, though students are aware of electronic resources, they do not fully utilize them to support their academic pursuit due to poor level of information literacy skills. The present study was designed to investigate the staff awareness of ergonomics principles required at the University of Jos Library computer workstation. The methodology adopted was the case study. The target population comprised of all the library staff available as at the time of the study. Present study aims to determine the use and awareness of e-journals among teachers and research scholars of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET). Study also targets to define the purpose of e-journals’ use, access place, preferred format and frequency to use. Data was collected from 60 users of different departments of UIET. This paper describes the usability of OPAC searching facility in the university libraries of Haryana. The study revealed that 86.0% of the users were aware of OPAC services in MDU, while 89.7% of the users were aware of OPAC service in CUH. In MDU, the maximum of 52.4% users used the OPAC system daily, while in CUH, the maximum of 32.0% users used the OPAC system biweekly. The population of the study consisted 1200 respondents comprising (staff of the Zamfara State Agricultural Development Project, FADAMA III Project, IFAD, Animal rearers and Farmers). Objective- This study investigated the awareness and perceived availability as correlate of electronic resources usage in academic libraries in Kwara State.

Method- The study employed survey research method. A sample size of 377 was drawn from a population of 17,336 students. Abstract

This study investigated the awareness, availability and accessibility of library resources by students of Kwara State University, Malete. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study and 210 undergraduate students provided the data. The findings of the study revealed that information resources were available and accessible in Kwara State University Library. The study showed that students do not know the usefulness of some of the resources and this has hampered their desire for them. Health information activities essentially are geared towards raising people’s awareness on good health and holistic living, thereby reducing the risks of opportunistic illness. In this regard, a related health promotional activity was undertaken in four local communities in Southern Nigeria.
