Abstract

Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. The random sampling technique was adopted to sample 120 respondents, representing 100% of the population target for the study. The gathered information was analyzed using frequency table, simple percentage, pie chart, and bar chart. The result was given along with the data which aid clarity of the result and made it easy for the drawing of the conclusion of the information gathered. Findings showed inter alia that information needs of pregnant women in Ile-Ife needs include: breastfeeding, disease prevention and control, environment cleanliness, after delivery, sickness during pregnancy, and immunization. Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) are considered as generally significant and broadly utilized assets by the researchers in higher educational institutions. The current paper assesses the contribution of Universities of Assam in India's ETD Database Shodhganga. In order to share the research information among the Universities, the Shodhganga Project was initiated by INFLIBNET Centre, which providing free access to theses and dissertations through the archive. In this project, 12 Universities of Assam have marked MoU for Shodhganga and just 10 universities have submitted their research reports.

The study examined the influence of emotional intelligence (EI) and self esteem on librarians’ social adjustment in federal universities in Nigeria. The study seek to ascertain whether emotional intelligence and self esteem predict social adjustment using a sample of 107 librarians drawn from 40 federal universities in Nigeria within the age range of 25 to 60 and a mean (X) age of 36.68) years and SD of 6.21. This study investigated the organizational commitment of information professionals working at university libraries in Pakistan. Survey method was adopted using a questionnaire to collect data from 329 information professionals of Punjab and Islamabad. The questionnaire contained 18-items measure of organizational commitment, developed by Meyer, Allen and Smith (1993), along with certain demographic variables. This paper presented a review of the literature related to knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation. The paper discussed the nature and types of knowledge, knowledge acquisition, theories and models of knowledge acquisition, in addition to the review of empirical studies measuring knowledge acquisition. For knowledge creation, the paper discussed the definition of knowledge creation, theories and models of knowledge creation, and review of empirical studies measuring knowledge creation. Findings of the review revealed how researchers and scholars have used a variety of variables in investigating and measuring knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation among managers, engineers, and faculty members.

This paper covers 18873 publications on Greenhouse effect in global level from the period of 2004-2018. The Scopus international multidisciplinary bibliographical database has been used to identify the Global contributions in the field of Greenhouse effect. The most number of papers were published in the journals as Article, i.e. 11982 (63.49%). Globally, USA is the highest publications country with the contribution of 4172 papers. India is in the ninth position of global level research output with 484 (2.55%) published articles.
