We will explain how the results of a 2013 study – Learning the Ropes: How Freshmen Conduct Course Research Once They Enter College – are reflected in data collected by our library. We’ll introduce a toolkit of short workshops created by the University Libraries to address the specific challenges that first year students’ face when they are presented with college research assignments.
