Barriers To The Use Of Injectable Naltrexone In An Outpatient Setting, Heather Schultz

Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies

The opioid epidemic is a public health concern that impacts thousands of individuals across the United States. There was a lack of clear understanding of what leads opioid addicts to decline use of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with injectable extended release naltrexone (XR-NTX). The purpose of this quantitative cross-sectional correlational study was to examine the relationships between past XR-NTX status and demographic factors (gender, age, race, education level, time sober in days, and employment status) and the attitudes about encouragement from providers about engaging in MAT, as well as perceptions about MAT in individuals currently in a MAT who chose not …

Self-Esteem Among Adults With Adhd Symptoms, Dana Richelieu

Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies

A sample of 272 adult participants living in the United States were recruited. A multiple regression analysis revealed ADHD symptoms, social support, and coping were statistically significant predictors of self-esteem, while ADHD treatment, gender, …

It has significantly hampered herd immunity, with a rate of 67% for COVID-19 globally. Vaccine hesitancy is common in underdeveloped nations like Nigeria. Misinformation and rumors may be the foundation of the lower vaccination rates in impacted African nations, particularly Nigeria. Thus, the Nigerian population has primarily remained unvaccinated or hesitant about COVID-19 vaccination uptake. This qualitative study explored the knowledge and attitudes towards hesitancy regarding COVID-19 vaccination uptake in Nigeria. The …
