Libraries across the world—especially in the US and Asia—are rapidly changing. New technology, trends, and user needs are all driving libraries to adapt. In today’s academic publishing environment, open access journals have become an increasingly common venue for faculty and students, to publish scholarly research. However, this publishing model often prompts many issues and concerns -- one of which is predatory (or, deceptive) publishing practices.
