This study is carried out to identify graduate students internship experience and its impact on practical skills development in LIS Education. A survey design was adopted using a questionnaire as the main instrument for collecting data. The population consists of 120 postgraduate students of Library and Information Science, 30 PG Lecturers/coordinators in charge of internship and 50 Librarians/HOS of universities where internship has been carried out at the postgraduate level in two selected universities - Delta State University, Abraka and University of Calabar in Delta and Cross Rivers State all of South-South Nigeria. One Laptop Per Child Policy In Ghana: Any Impact On Teaching And Learning?, Samuel Owusu-Ansah

This paper assesses the impact of “One Laptop Per Child Policy” on teaching and learning in basic schools in Ghana. Specifically, 500 students were randomly selected together with 10 information and communication technology (ICT) instructors in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Both questionnaire and in-depth interviews were used for gathering data. The data collected were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Findings of the study showed that stringent criteria are used to assess the needs of students and in the distribution of the laptops. A good DMP plan was concise and easy to follow. Writers should not be afraid to take up the maximum allowed space when necessary to explain things so that the reviewers don’t have to think hard/look something up. Below are examples of feedback a consultant might give when reviewing a data management plan. These examples may be used and altered as necessary to fit a variety of situations. The feedback has been divided into three categories: Defining Terms, Details, Data, and Human Research Subject Data.

This study was conducted in seventeen Indian university Libraries to assess the familiarity and usage of cloud computing applications among Library and information Science professionals. The investigator collected responses from 56 number of LIS professionals working at 17 Indian University Libraries, through a structured questionnaire. Results revealed that the usage of cloud computing applications in library operation and services is not very significant.
