The Logan Site (46LG4) is a prehistoric site in downtown Logan, West Virginia. Prehistoric skeletal remains were found during construction of the New State Office Building for the West Virginia General Services Division (Frye 2012). The Logan Site was excavated in 2011 and 2012 by GAI Consultants, Inc. The purpose of the archaeological investigations was to identify and remove burials that would be impacted by construction activities and repatriate the remains to Native American tribes (Frye 2012).
