We report a search for X(3872) and X (3915) in B+→χc1π0K+ decays. We set an upper limit of B(B+→X(3872)K+)×B(X(3872)→χc1π0)<8.1×10−6 and B(B+→X(3915)K+)×B(X(3915)→χc1π0)<3.8×10−5 at 90% confidence level. We also measure B(X(3872)→χc1π0)/B(X(3872)→J/ψπ+π−)<0.97 at 90% confidence level. The results reported here are obtained from 772×106 B¯B events collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider.

Using a data sample of 980 fb−1 of e+e− annihilation data taken with the Belle detector operating at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider, we report the results of a study of the decays of the Ω0ccharmed baryon into hadronic final states. We report the most precise measurements to date of the relative branching fractions of the Ω0c into Ω−π+π0, Ω−π+π−π+, Ξ−K−π+π+, and Ξ0K−π+, as well as the first measurements of the branching fractions of the Ω0c into Ξ−¯K0π+, Ξ0¯K0, and Λ¯K0¯K0, all with respect to the Ω−π+ decay. In addition, we investigate the resonant substructure of these modes. Finally, we …

We search for CP violation in the charged charm meson decay D+→π+π0, based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 921 fb−1 collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB e+e− asymmetric-energy collider. The measured CP-violating asymmetry is [+2.31±1.24(stat)±0.23(syst)]%, which is consistent with the standard model prediction and has a significantly improved precision compared to previous results.

We present the measurement of the absolute branching fractions of B+→Xc¯cK+ and B+→¯D(*)0π+decays, using a data sample of 772×106 B¯B pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. Here, Xc¯c denotes ηc, J/ψ, χc0, χc1, ηc(2S), ψ(2S), ψ(3770), X(3872), and X(3915). We do not observe significant signals for X(3872) or X(3915) and set the 90% confidence level upper limits at B(B+→X(3872)K+)<2.6×10−4 and B(B+→X(3915)K+)<2.8×10−4. These represent the most stringent upper limit for B(B+→X(3872)K+) to date and the first limit for B(B+→X(3915)K+). The measured branching fractions for ηc and ηc(2S) are the most precise to date, B(B+→ηcK+)=(12.0±0.8±0.7)×10−4and B(B+→ηc(2S)K+)=(4.8±1.1±0.3)×10−4, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

We report branching fraction measurements of the decays B+→ηℓ+νℓ and B+→η′ℓ+νℓ based on 711 fb−1 of data collected near the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. This data sample contains 772 million B¯B events. One of the two Bmesons is fully reconstructed in a hadronic decay mode. Among the remaining (“signal-B”) daughters, we search for the η meson in two decay channels, η→γγ and η→π+π−π0, and reconstruct the η′meson in η′→ηπ+π− with subsequent decay of the η into γγ. Combining the two η modes and using an extended maximum likelihood, the B+→ηℓ+νℓ branching fraction …

We measure the branching fraction and CP violation asymmetry in the decay B0→π0π0, using a data sample of 752×106 B¯B pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e− collider. The obtained branching fraction and direct CP asymmetry are B(B→π0π0)=[1.31±0.19(stat)±0.19(syst)]×10−6 and ACP=+0.14±0.36(stat)±0.10(syst), respectively. The signal significance, including the systematic uncertainty, is 6.4 standard deviations. We combine these results with Belle’s earlier measurements of B0→π+π− and B±→π±π0 to exclude the CP-violating parameter ϕ2 from the range 15.5°<ϕ2

We report a study of the charmless hadronic decay of the charged B meson to the three-body final state K+K−π+. The results are based on a data sample that contains 772×106 B¯B pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. The measured inclusive branching fraction and direct CP asymmetry are (5.38±0.40±0.35)×10−6 and −0.170±0.073±0.017, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The K+K− invariant mass distribution of the signal candidates shows an excess in the region below 1.5 GeV/c2, which is consistent with the previous studies from BABAR …

We report the first observation of the radiative charm decay D0→ρ0γ and the first search for CP violation in decays D0→ρ0γ, ϕγ, and ¯K*0(892)γ, using a data sample of 943 fb−1 collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. The branching fraction is measured to be B(D0→ρ0γ)=(1.77±0.30±0.07)×10−5, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The obtained CP asymmetries ACP(D0→ρ0γ)=+0.056±0.152±0.006, ACP(D0→ϕγ)=−0.094±0.066±0.001, and ACP(D0→¯K*0γ)=−0.003±0.020±0.000 are consistent with no CP violation. We also present an improved measurement of the branching fractions B(D0→ϕγ)=(2.76±0.19±0.10)×10−5 and B(D0→¯K*0γ)=(4.66±0.21±0.21)×10−4.

We report the first search for the J P C = 0−− glueball in Υ(1S) and Υ(2S) decays with data samples of (102 ± 2) million and (158 ± 4) million events, respectively, collected with the Belle detector. No significant signals are observed in any of the proposed production modes, and the 90% credibility level upper limits on their branching fractions in Υ(1S) and Υ(2S) decays are obtained. The inclusive branching fractions of the Υ(1S) and Υ(2S) decays into final states with a χc1 are measured to be B(Υ(1S) → χc1 + anything) = (1.90 ± 0.43(stat.) ± 0.14(syst.)) × …

We search for the rare radiative decay D 0 → γγ using a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 832 fb−1 recorded by the Belle detector at the KEKB e +e − asymmetric-energy collider. We find no statistically significant signal and set an upper limit on the branching fraction of B(D 0 → γγ) < 8.5 × 10−7 at 90% confidence level. This is the most restrictive limit on the decay channel to date.

We obtain B(B 0 → ψ(2S)π 0 ) = (1.17 ± 0.17(stat) ± 0.08(syst)) × 10−5 . The result has a significance of 7.2 standard deviations and is the first observation of the decay B 0 → ψ(2S)π 0.
