Rapid Radiological Analysis Of Building Materials, Askar Safarov, Joseph Sharonov, Ali Mukhamedov, Askarali Azimov, Akmal Safarov, Mukhammad Salimov, B Radzhabboev

Scientific Journal of Samarkand University

Measurements of the dose-forming radionuclide concentrations such as Rа-226, Тh-232 and К-40 were carried out in samples of building materials with different ageing times. The radium equivalent activities of the samples were determined. Possible values of the correcting coefficients to the activity of Ra-226 that take into account the radioactive equilibrium were calculated. This, in turn, allows to perform rapid radiological analysis of building materials.

Scientific Journal of Samarkand University

Systematic studies of Rydberg and autoionization states of rare-earth atoms are carried out. The exact values of the ionization potentials of all lanthanides were determined, and the relationships between the ionization potential of atoms and the number of lost valence electrons during multistage laser photoionization were investigated. The physical mechanisms of the formation of spike and smooth, asymmetric autoionization resonances in near-threshold and long-range autoionization spectra of rare-earth atoms are established.

Attenuation Of Ultrasonic Waves And Acoustic Gruneisen Parameter In Aluminum Alloys, F. R. Axmedjanov, A. F. Boltabayev, E. N. Kurtaliyev, J. T. Nazarov

Scientific Journal of Samarkand University

Attenuation of acoustics waves and Grüneisen parameter has been investigated in AMG-2 and SAV-1 aluminum alloys used as a construction material in nuclear reactors. The measurements of attenuation coefficient of longitudinal acoustics waves were carried out by the echo pulse method at frequencies 10 and 30 MHz and temperature range 290 – 580 K. The maximum observed in temperature dependence of attenuation coefficient is explained by different relaxation mechanisms

Laser Spectoscopy Of Mandelstems - Brillian Scattering In Aqueous Nonelectrolyte Solutions, L. M. Sabirov, D. I. Semenov, X. S. Xaydarov, F. R. Sabirov

Scientific Journal of Samarkand University

In this work we developed a method of laser spectroscopy to study the frequency shift of Mandelshtam-Brillouin components in the fine structure of Reyleigh line, which are origin due to the pressure fluctuations. The method allows to study a character of hypersound (~109 Hz)propagation in a critical region of a thermodynamic instability. Analysis of a complex of experimental material , presented in the paper, allows one to conclude that in aqueous solutions of non-electrolytes at critical concentration there is a whole structural transformations in solutions at the singular point temperature in “temperature-concentration” coordinates

Parameter Of Elastic Anisotropy In Bismuth Silicate Crystals, F.R. Akhmedjanov, U.A. Saidvaliev, U.U. Tukxtaev, J.T. Nazarov

Scientific Journal of Samarkand University

The elastic anisotropy parameter of noncentrosymmetric cubic crystals of bismuth silicate has been investigated. It is shown that they belong to crystals with the negative anisotropy of elastic moduli of the second order. Comparison of the experimental results with the values of the velocities of acoustic waves calculated through the introduced anisotropy parameter shows a good agreement.

Spectra Of One – And Two Photon Excited Luminescence Of Medical Drugsin Photon Traps, A.K. Kubanov, D.I. Semenov

Scientific Journal of Samarkand University

A technique for studying the photoluminescence spectra of pharmaceuticals (analgin, paracetamol) was developed for single- and two-photon excitation by a pulse-periodic laser. The technique is based on the fiber-optic recording of photoluminescence spectra using a small-size spectrometer, quartz light guides, and mini cavity cuvettes, which makes it possible to compare the analyzed spectrum with the spectrum of the reference substance.

Radiation-Optical And Thermo-Radiation Phenomena In Laser Phosphate Glasses Coactivated With Neodimium And Cerium Oxides, E.M. Ibragimova, M.K. Salakhitdinova, A.N. Salakhitdinov, A.A. Yusupov

Scientific Journal of Samarkand University

For laser phosphate glasses activated by pairwise neodymium and cerium ions, a number of radiation-optical effects have been studied: thermal and thermoradiative decolorization in the region of 200-800 nm; jump-like switching of the valence of cerium ions during the valencecoordination change in its oxygen environment. A new conceptual approach is proposed to the mechanism of the thermoradiation effect of gamma irradiation at temperatures of 100- 400 C, leading to the detection of neodymium-neodymium and neodymium-cerium ion-ion coordination interactions in nano-structural complex complexes involving the structure of a glass matrix, Only thermoradiation exposure.

The effect of light irradiation on the spectral-luminescent characteristics of some rhodamine dyes with a carboxyl group in solvents of various natures was studied. It has been established that under the influence of light irradiation in aqueous solutions of selected dyes, a decrease in the intensity of absorption and fluorescence with a simultaneous hypsochromic shift of the electronic spectra is observed.Under the same conditions, discolored solutions of rhodamine dyes in a binary solvent mixture of 1% water + 99% DMSO are reduced in color and, accordingly, absorbing and fluorescent capacity. The observed phenomenon is explained by the transition of molecules …
