The cold battery is a heat exchanger between two fluids, air (secondary fluid) and iced water (primary fluid). The cold battery is composed of two heat exchangers in series, one of which is made up of flat-plate in galvanized steel serving as a reservoir for the iced water and the other one a copper shelland-tube exchanger with aluminum cooling blades. The two heat exchangers a connected pipe of the same diameter. These pipes will permit the transit of the iced water coming from the flat-plate exchanger by gravitation towards the tubes of the second exchanger. These two heat exchangers are incorporated …

The Influence Of Radiative Heat Transfer And Hall Current On Mhd Flow In A Vertical Rotating Channel With Slip Condition, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Hemant Poonia, Uma Shanker, S. S. Dhayal

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

In this paper the effects of Hall current on MHD free convection flow in a vertical rotating channel filled with porous medium have been studied. A uniform magnetic field is applied in the direction normal to the plates. The entire system rotates about an axis normal to the planes of the plates with uniform angular velocity ' . The temperature of one of the plates varies periodically and the temperature difference of the plates is high enough to induce radiative heat transfer. The effects of various parameters on the velocity and temperature field are shown graphically. Also the results on …

Adsorption Of Co2 Molecule On The (Mgo)9 And (Cao)9 Nanoclusters; A Theoretical Study, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Fathi Hassan Bawa

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Binding configurations of CO2 on (MgO)9 and (CaO)9 cluster models are investigated by means of density functional theory model calculations. The results show that CO2 adsorbs as monodentate on MgO and CaO terrace site leads to formation of surface carbonates CO3 2- . Marginal differences in the binding stabilities between the CO2 molecule and surface O2- site were found to be significantly similar. The estimated adsorption energies are 1.47 eV and 1.52 eV at the (MgO)9 and (CaO)9 clusters, respectively. The similarity in binding energies is discussed in terms of cluster electropositivity. Adsorbed CO2, to (MgO)9 surface vibration frequencies are …

One-pot polyol process was combined with metal organic decomposition (MOD) method to fabricate a room-temperature NO2 gas sensor based on tin dioxide and reduced graphene oxide (SO2/RGO) nanocomposite films. X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to analyze the structure and morphology of the fabricated films. The electrical and NO2 gas-sensing properties of SnO2 to which various amounts of RGO were added were measured in detail as a function of concentration of NO2 gas at room temperature, to elucidate the contribution of RGO to the NO2 gas-sensing capacity. The sensor that was based on a nanocomposite film …

Effect Of Eva Content Upon The Dielectric Properties In Ldpe-Eva Films, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Hojjat, Amrollahi, Mahmood, Borhani

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Low density polyethylene (LDPE) blends with different percentages of ethylene vinyl acetate polymer membranes were prepared by a hot press casting method. The effects of EVA content on the electrical properties of LDPE were studied. The results on the electrical properties revealed that the surface resistance, volume resistivity, and breakdown voltage of the LDPE decrease with EVA content and reach a minimum at a 30 wt% of EVA. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss factor were increased with increasing EVA content up to 30 wt% of EVA. It can be deduced that the electrical properties of LDPE are improved by blending …

Sufficient Condition For Complete Graphs And Hamiltonian Graphs, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, S.Venu Madava Sarma, T.V. Pradeep Kumar

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

In 1856, Hamiltonian introduced the Hamiltonian Graph where a Graph which is covered all the vertices without repetition and end with starting vertex. In this paper I would like to prove that every Complete Graph ‘G’ having n ≥ 5 vertices, such that n is odd. If for all pairs of nonadjacent vertices u, v one has du + dv ≥ n − 2, then G has a Hamiltonian path.

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

It is axiomatic to say that the rails used nowadays have been subjected to heavier axle loads and high operating speeds. This may lead to derailment and eventually loss of life. In this paper Transient analysis (Dynamic analysis) for rail by using ANSYS 12.1 Software is discussed. In this analysis deflection and stress are compared with wheel diameter, load, speed and range of distribution of contact load. Result is analyzed by the effect of variation of these parameters.

Development Of River Quality Management (Rqm) Information System For River Stretches Blending With Multi-Industrial Effluents, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Muniyan Sundararajan, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Anand Mohan

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

RQM information system takes into account various non-conservative pollution parameters like Total Dissolved solids (TDS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Dissolved Oxygen (DO) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and obtains the concentration of such parameters along the river stretch. The system incorporates various mathematical models for computation of velocity variation along the river stretch, flow rate computation, and crosssectional area computation and finally uses a water quality dispersion model to compute the concentration of vivid pollutants at various points in the river stretch to predict the quality of river.
