Introduction: Neurodevelopmental disorders are a group of conditions that start in childhood and lead to impairments in functioning. HNRNPH2-related neurodevelopmental disorder is an ultra-rare disorder in which individuals present with cognitive, behavioral, language and motor function impairments that often leads to reliance on their caregivers. Existing conceptual models of neurodevelopment are not specific to this ultra rare disorder and do not highlight the caregiver impact of living with HNRNPH2-related neurodevelopmental disorder.

The Physician Assistant (PA) profession has grown at a rapid rate with an expected increase of 31% by 2028 (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2019). PA educational programs are expanding to fill the demand. However, faculty shortages have persisted for years. During the 2017-2018 academic year, 75.5% of new faculty were recruited directly from the clinical environment with no prior experience in PA education, and for those who leave academia, 25.7% report a return to clinical practice (PAEA, 2018). New PA faculty are often not provided adequate mentorship or guidance which can influence perception of satisfaction in their academic positions.

With advances in acute medical care, longevity has increased in persons with SCI; however, morbidity due to cardiovascular disease (CVD) occurs at an earlier age compared to the general population. Arterial stiffness (AS) is recognized as an independent risk factor for CVD and, specifically, pulse wave velocity (PWV) has been proven to be a valid tool to predict and track structural arterial changes that reflect arteriosclerosis. Sports dominate American culture and with millions of athletes of all ages participating in these sports these athletes predispose themselves to the risks of sport-related concussions. School based health clinics provide medical services and healthcare to students within the school setting. Research suggests that students who use school based health clinic services perform better academically in school by improving their attendance, health status, and addressing their medical needs. This retrospective study explored the relationship between school based health clinics and academic performance in elementary school-aged children.
