The high prevalence of obesity continues to pose significant health challenges globally. According to the U.S. Preventive Service Task Force, obesity affects more than 35% of men and 40% of women in the United States. The national annual cost of medical care related to obesity is estimated at $147 to $210 billion. Dysautonomia dysfunction (DD) is a disorder of the autonomic nervous system. Over 70 million people suffer from some type of DD, and the average length of time from symptoms to diagnosis is 6 years. Most facilities and providers choose not to treat DD due to the number of symptoms and the difficulty of being able to diagnose correctly. The purpose of this project study was to create guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of DD. A review of PN program curricula in Ontario suggested that emotional intelligence (EI) and the core concept of emotional self-management are not specified in curriculum outcomes or courses. However, there is a lack of empirical research identifying effective executive coaching competencies. In this modified Delphi study, a panel of 17 executive coaching experts was purposefully selected from the International Coach Federation and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Inadequate leadership is the reason workplace accidents in the mining industry remain high, making the industry one of the most hazardous operational activities in the world. Unsafe leadership practices may result in death or injury to workers. Chronic pain contributes to morbidity, mortality, and disability in millions of people. Prevalence rates for pain are as high as 83% among the 5.2 million older adults living with a diagnosis of dementia.
