Articles About GGU Law
The Purple Heart honoree recently spoke about his experiences at the Second Annual Veterans Conference at Golden Gate University School of Law, telling an audience of students, academics and fellow leaders of the bar how best to provide legal advice to the men and women who constitute the nation’s 19.6 million military veterans. He came to the Mission Street campus, he said, because he’ll go anywhere to help vets – and to help students who work at Golden Gate’s veteran’s clinic and others who counsel veterans to appreciate who their clients are.

It was a combination of past inquiries from our patrons and the need to publish. Prior to this bibliography, no such compilation of our faculty’s work existed. Although our library hosts a display of current faculty scholarship at the start of each fall semester to promote recent faculty publications, we …

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries: Conference Presentations and Speeches
From the promotional flyer for this talk:
Copyright is a battlefield, and an author's control over his/her own work can easily become collateral damage or go missing in action. Many publishers believe they have an inherent right to own the intellectual property arising from your grant-funded research and to live off the earnings of written works that you had little choice but to give them for free or pay them to publish.
In this session, you will learn more about U.S. Copyright Law, authors' rights, fair use, and protecting your intellectual property. You will learn how to make copyright law …

California’S Women Veterans Responses To The 2013 Survey, California Research Bureau
California’S Women Veterans Responses To The 2013 Survey, California Research Bureau
California Agencies
The women veteran population in the United States now exceeds 2.2 million. About 8 percent of these women live in California, for a population of more than 180,000. Women veterans have much in common with their male counterparts but have unique experiences and needs as well. Anticipating and addressing these needs is a growing focus of state and federal governments. One component of California’s response to the growing women veteran population is the California Women Veteran Survey, a biennial survey of women veterans living in the state. Begun in 2009, this survey is administered by the California State Library’s California …
