Maine Prevalence Of Pharmacy Robberies, John Redwanski, Diana Nguyen

Poster presentation: The increased incidence of drug abuse in the state of Maine has correlated with the prevalence of pharmacy robberies. A 1400 percent increase of pharmacy robberies within the past 3 years has caught the attention of law enforcement and government. Maine’s attorney general commissioned the drug abuse task force to properly control this pharmacy epidemic.

The judge's work in child abuse and neglect cases is among the most challenging of any judicial proceeding. The complexities are substantial. Such cases depend upon the exercise of discretion and good judgment together with the application of sound legal principles. At manyplaces of worship, responsibility for oversight of the physical facilities falls to administrative staff as one more adjunct to an already busy schedule. At others, property tasks may be left to volunteers. The “on-the-job training” may often be self-taught.
