The home-refill delivery system is a business model that addresses the concerns of plastic waste and its impact on the environment. It allows customers to pick up their household goods at their doorsteps and refill them into their own containers. However, the difficulty in accessing customers’ locations and product consolidations are undeniable challenges. To overcome these issues, we introduce a new variant of the Profitable Tour Problem, named the multi-vehicle profitable tour problem with flexible compartments and mandatory customers (MVPTPFC-MC). The high prevalence of dental caries among children and adolescents, especially those from lower socio-economic backgrounds, is a significant nationwide health concern. Early prevention, such as dental sealants and fluoride varnish (FV), is essential, but access to this care remains limited and disparate. While cancer impacts all segments of the United States population, specific groups experience a disproportionate burden of the disease due to social, environmental, and economic disadvantages. This research examines the correlation between socioeconomic factors and the accessibility of cancer clinical trials across U.S. counties, employing a comprehensive dataset, County-Level Socioeconomic and Cancer Clinical Trial Data from Noah Ripper, and advanced machine-learning techniques. In this research paper, a new approach to the issue of cardboard box packaging waste is proposed by selecting an optimal box that will contain both regular and irregular products while minimizing wasted volume. In-situ crosslinking gel known for its cost-effectiveness, has been employed for decades to plug high-permeability features in subsurface environments. However, some commonly used crosslinkers are being phased out due to the increasingly rigorous environmental regulations. As a newly discovered environmentally friendly crosslinker, lysine can crosslink the partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide through transamidation reaction. The article presents the results of an experimental study on the hydraulic resistance of a tubular-grid nozzle made of smooth pipes and pipes with spiral turbulators. Experiments were carried out with nozzles made of smooth pipes and pipes with turbulators. Spiral turbulators are placed discretely with a step t/d=0,3125-0,9375 and installed on a tube sheet in a checkerboard pattern with a step s/d=1,15-10. Experimental studies were carried out with air flow in the transition region.

The paper presents the results of a study of the physico-chemical characteristics of the liquid fraction of products of thermal oxidative pyrolysis of worn tires. The mass fraction of the volatile gas compounds, the optimal boiling points of the obtained condensates and the flashpoint of pyrolysis liquids, together with the mass composition of cracking products of rubber products at high-temperature pyrolysis at a temperature of 800-900 °C, were determined. Abstract: Broad learning system(BLS) is introduced to tackle the existed disadvantage that LSTM-based runoff prediction model is easy to fall into local optimization. To reduce the influence of noise on the prediction results, the variational mode decomposition (VMD) is adopted to transform the onedimensional time-domain runoff signal to the two-dimensional time-frequency plane. The runoff prediction model based on VMD-LSTM-BLS is proposed. The simulation results demonstrate that the prediction accuracy of the new model is more significantly improved compared with the baseline model and the existing LSTM-based runoff prediction model.

Abstract: Targeting the problem that nonplanar fully-actuated unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are susceptible to external winds and unmodeled dynamics, the predictive control system with good robustness is designed. A nonlinear motion model with six degrees of freedom is established through the Newton-Euler approach. A linear extended state observer is designed to estimate the state variables by transforming the system affected by matched and unmatched disturbances into an equivalent system only affected by the matched disturbances. Abstract: To address the problem that the traditional short-time passenger flow prediction method does not consider the temporal characteristics similarity between the inter-temporal passenger flows, a shorttime passenger flow prediction model k-CNN-LSTM is proposed by combining the improved k-means clustering algorithm with the CNN and the LSTM. The k-means is used to cluster the intertemporal timeseries data, the k-value is determined by using the gap-statistic, and a traffic flow matrix model is constructed.
