The Formula-SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) race car requires an onboard data logger to obtain and record the performance information received from the Fuel Injection Controller. This data is needed for analyzing the engine performance of the race car. It is advantageous to have this unit transmit the data via a wireless link to a handheld monitoring tool. Having user interface, like a LCD screen and a keypad, would make the monitoring tool easy to use.
