"The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the action of beams in the plastic range. The test specimen will be a 4WF 13 structural shape continuous over three supports having equal span lengths of seven feet. Three types of loading were chosen. The first loading will be concentrated in the center of each span. The second loading will be a concentrated load in the center of one span only.
