Our group at Syracuse University has been working under Professor Mark Glauser as part of a wind consortium with the University of Minnesota and United Technologies Research Group. Our component of this project will be to develop a system which can be imbedded in an airfoil which can increase the efficiency of the airfoil. Along with developing this “intelligent blade,” we will also be characterizing the affect our control system will have on aerodynamic noise.
