"The object of this investigation is to study the mutual dependence of heat and mass transport in laminar and hydrodynamically developed tube flow. Consideration is given to gas flow through a tube whose wall is coated with a sublimable materials so that heat and mass transfers take place between the wall and the flowing gas stream. The tube wall is thermally insulated from the external environment, with the result that the latent heat required by the sublimation process at the wall is supplied solely by convective transfer from the gas.
