The Design And Construction Of An Instrument For Calibrating Accelerometers, Richard Rabenau

Masters Theses

"The purpose of this work was to design and construct a facility to calibrate accelerometers. A ceramic piezoelectric shaker and modified Michelson interferometer together with necessary electronic equipment were used. The system produced accurate and stable acceleration at five discrete points from 1,000 to 5,000 cycles per second. the maximum calibration levels were approximately 50 g's"--Abstract, page ii.
