The goal of this project was to design a Smart Home Pet Feeder that will allow the owner to feed their pet using 4 different methods. The methods are: manually, scheduled, app/url, Alexa/Google. The advantages of this design are that it will become convenient for pet owners who are busy and unable to make it back to their house to feed their pets remotely or for those who enjoy the use of technology from within their home for no-trouble feeding.

The main objective of this study was to develop rapid aggregate and concrete test methods and a combined innovative approach for formulating performance based ASR resistant concrete mixes. An innovative step by step approach has been developed to formulate ASR resistant concrete mixes based on four recommended steps. In step 1, determination of aggregate ASR composite activation energy (CAE) and threshold alkalinity (THA) by using a rapid aggregate chemical test called volumetric change measuring device (VCMD) is performed. Recent corrosion failures of tendons in Florida post-tensioned (PT) bridges utilizing low bleed specified grout products have shown the need for better understanding of the mechanisms that cause corrosion and to determine the extent of the problem in PT tendons with similar materials. Those deficient grouts in the tendons showed low chloride content below commonly assumed threshold limits for corrosion initiation, but they showed higher concentrations of sulfate ions, high pore water pH and higher moisture content. Maintaining the simplicity of Hansbo's (1981) solution, this paper presents radial consolidation equations that capture some of the versatility of more complex analytical solutions. Material and geometry properties may vary piecewise-constant with time while loading/unloading, both surcharge and vacuum, may vary piecewise-linear with time. The new equations are easily implemented in a spreadsheet or computer program providing a simple yet versatile tool for analysis of consolidation problems dominated by radial drainage.
