Approaches to service design share HCI's commitment to developing with and for people useful, usable and accessible services. However, there has been little explicit interaction between the emerging service sciences and the interaction design communities. Cet article contribue au domaine de l’interaction homme-machine (IHM), en proposant un cadre méthodologique global en vue de la spécification de systèmes interactifs dans le domaine de la logistique, pouvant aller jusqu’à la e-logistique. La logistique est vue au sens large en étudiant les besoins des différents acteurs d’une organisation complexe, vis-à-vis de l’exploitation de nouvelles technologies où l’accent est mis sur les services web et l’architecture orientée services. Le cadre proposé a été appliqué sur une étude de cas complexe représentative, relative à la fonction logistique d’un groupe agro-alimentaire.

A lot of work & research has been done in HCI supervision-type industrial context, but mostly relative to control rooms and local supervision. However, many multi-site or extended and complex organisations are faced with some new challenges and trends such as supervisory systems integration and unified access of the different actors which have not been much considered so far. A service oriented solution is outlined and explained in the context of industrial supervision oriented towards to a unified and integrated supervisory HCI design. A representative supervisory scenario taken from a real case study which illustrates the approach is then described.

RESUME Dans cet article, nous considérons l’IHM de supervision dans un contexte technologique nouveau et en constante évolution, lequel est caractérisé par des aspects impor-tants comme la mobilité et la coopération entre acteurs d’une part, et l’inter connectivité, l’interopérabilité et l’hétérogénéité des systèmes industriels utilisés d’autre part. Towards New Web Services Based Supervisory Systems Dedicated To Nomadic Operators, Djilali Idoughi, Christophe Kolski

This paper outlines new approaches and motivations about supervisory HMI, such as mobility and information access by different human actors belonging to the organization, by using diverse interaction devices, exploiting Web Services and their underlying technologies. The basic concepts are explained in the context of industrial supervision adopting a service oriented architecture (SOA) design approach which makes it possible to integrate real time information from different systems more easily than traditional ones. A representative supervisory scenario which illustrates the approach is described and discussed.
