Crime Data Prediction Based On Geographical Location Using Machine Learning, Sai Bharath Yarlagadda Aug 2024

Crime Data Prediction Based On Geographical Location Using Machine Learning, Sai Bharath Yarlagadda

Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations

This project employs machine learning methods like K Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Random Forest, Logistic Regression, and Decision Tree algorithms to monitor crime data based on location and pinpoint areas with risks. The project implements and tunes the four models to improve the precision of predicting crime levels. These models collaborate to offer a trustworthy evaluation of crime patterns. K Nearest Neighbors (KNN) categorizes locations by examining the proximity of data points considering coordinates and other factors to identify trends linked to increased crime data. Logistic Regression gauges the likelihood of crime incidents by studying the connection, between factors (like location …

Docs_On_Blocks – A Defense In Depth Strategy For E-Healthcare, Saad Mohammed

Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations

With the increase in the data breaches and cyber hacks, organizations have come to realize that cyber security alone would not help as the attacks are becoming more sophisticated and complex than ever. E-Healthcare industry has shown a promising improvement in terms of security over the past, but the threat remains. Thus, the E-Healthcare industries are aiming towards a Defense in Depth Strategy approach.

The project here describes how a Defense in Depth Strategy for E-Healthcare system can provide an environment for better security of the data and peer-to-peer interaction with stakeholders. The legacy systems have at some point failed …

Organize Events Mobile Application, Thakshak Mani Chandra Reddy Gudimetla

Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations

In a big organization there are many events organized every day. To know about the events, we typically need to check an events page, rely on flyers or on distributed pamphlets or through word of mouth. To register for an event a user now a days typically does this online which involves inputting user details. At the event, the user either signs a sheet of paper or enters credentials in a web page loaded on a tablet or other electronic device. Typically, this is a time-consuming process with many redundancies like entering user details every time the user wants to …

Automatic Generation Of Web Applications And Management System, Yu Zhou Mar 2017

Automatic Generation Of Web Applications And Management System, Yu Zhou

Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations

One of the major difficulties in web application design is the tediousness of constructing new web pages from scratch. For traditional web application projects, the web application designers usually design and implement web application projects step by step, in detail. My project is called “automatic generation of web applications and management system.” This web application generator can generate the generic and customized web applications based on software engineering theories. The flow driven methodology will be used to drive the project by Business Process Model Notation (BPMN). Modules of the project are: database, web server, HTML page, functionality, financial analysis model, …

Estimation On Gibbs Entropy For An Ensemble, Lekhya Sai Sake Dec 2015

Estimation On Gibbs Entropy For An Ensemble, Lekhya Sai Sake

Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations

In this world of growing technology, any small improvement in the present scenario would create a revolution. One of the popular revolutions in the computer science field is parallel computing. A single parallel execution is not sufficient to see its non-deterministic features, as same execution with the same data at different time would end up with a different path. In order to see how non deterministic a parallel execution can extend up to, creates the need of the ensemble of executions. This project implements a program to estimate the Gibbs Entropy for an ensemble of parallel executions. The goal is …

The I: A Client-Based Point-And-Click Puzzle Game, Aldo Lewis

Electronic Theses, Projects, and Dissertations

Given mobile devices’ weak computational power, game programmers must learn to create games with simple graphics that are engaging and easy to play. Though seldom created for phones and tablets, puzzle games are a perfect fit. In recent years, the genre has gained a following and even won some acclaim. Games like Myst, The Seventh Guest and Portal all engage gamers with challenging puzzles and then reward them with story components upon task fulfillment. Few such games have been created for mobile devices, in part due to the difficulty of developing for devices with different operating systems. Android, WebIOS and …
