The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore perceptions of gifted and talented African American former high school students who are alumni of an exemplar STEAM program in a major urban city on the eastern seaboard with culturally relevant instruction regarding curricular and instructional practices for academic success. The conceptual framework was Ladson-Billings’ constructivist theory of culturally relevant pedagogy. Three research questions guided this study. Multicultural Perceptions of Creativity examined perceptions of creativity among eight creatively gifted adults from diverse backgrounds who have a profession in an arts related field. This study examined what the phenomenon of creativity is and how it is experienced. The beliefs that inform perceptions of creativity were explored. The experiences that inform perceptions of creativity were described. The interactions among beliefs and experiences were considered. The data collected revealed that creativity is an instinct that each person possesses and can activate within themselves. In this records-based quantitative study, the researcher looks for evidence of inequity as it may appear in the context of the 2020 New Mexico Scholastic Art Awards (NMSAA), a regional partner of a high-profile national art contest, with 1,016 entries from 394 students in Grades 7-12 in 50 schools. The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of discipline formats on student development and analyze if the practice of restorative justice can decrease the school to prison pipeline. Does criminalizing every discrepancy against the law create better law-abiding citizens? Is the zero-tolerance policy change an effective mechanism for school discipline? Do restorative justice practices reduce the school to prison pipeline? The purpose of this study was to identify and assess the misconceptions of grade 12 students in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) concerning the electrical potential of spherical conductors in physics. This study employed a two-tier multiple choice testing strategy to assess student misconceptions. A quantitative research method was applied to determine students’ views on synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods.
