This study aimed to identify the reality of mathematics teacher’s use of higher-order thinking skills at primary school. To investigate this, the researchers recruited a random sample of 197 teachers and used an observation card on a random sample of 92 primary school mathematics. The credibility of the investigator and the observation card was checked. Results of the study showed that the implementation of mathematics teachers in primary school to issues of higher-order thinking skills varied in responses between medium and high, from their point of view. This research paper explores art integration into a science lesson unit that follows the Next Generation Science Standards (K-PS2-1) and focuses on the effects on memory retention of key concepts along with levels of enjoyment. An experiment was conducted with children ages 3 and 4 teaching scientific concepts about gears while incorporating student-made art products. The children were assigned to alternating experimental (art-integrated) or control (no art) conditions during the four stages of the lesson. This study investigates the effects of differentiated instruction on student engagement, student satisfaction, and students’ perceived quality of artwork in the high school art classroom. In order to determine its effectiveness, students were presented a control and test lesson. The control lesson utilized limited differentiation, and students completed similar notes, projects and critiques.
