High school football players are nearly twice as likely to sustain a concussion as college players, according to a recent study by the Institute of Medicine and funded by the NFL. As such, it’s important for schools to have concussion protocols for student-athletes injured during play. A recent case, Mann v. Palmerton Area School District, 117 LRP 40825 (3d Cir. 09/21/17), highlights the importance of having school concussion management and prevention policies in place for student-athletes. No sport enjoys more popularity in the USA than football. However, not every college can fill their stadium. This study examined spectator typology and college football attendance. Four typologies emerged as well as a chronology of expectations for game events. Presented is PUNT a sport marketing strategy to increase football game attendance.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the demand for structured

RollerSoccer Youth Programs and to examine the perceptions about this type of

Program. The market for RollerSoccer is untapped and unrepresented in the

world of sports. To date, there are no articles about the development of

RollerSoccer Youth Programs or scholarly work on marketing the emerging sport

of RollerSoccer. The RollerSoccer International Federation (RSIF), the governing

body for this fast‐paced, high scoring hybrid sport aims to expand its reach to

youth in diverse communities by developing this sports initiative.

The purposes of this study were: (1) to determine the significance in variability between right, left, forward and backward movement times resulting from assuming the three-point and the four-point center stances, for junior high, senior high, junior college and college football players without previous experience at the center position; and (2) to determine the significance of difference between means of right, left, forward and backward movement of the three-point and four-point stances for each of the groups, viz., junior high, senior high, junior college and college.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the junior high school football program regarding organization, procedure, and format. This study will attempt to (1) show the basic needs of junior high school age boys, (2) discuss the advantages of the junior high school program, (3) discuss the disadvantages of the junior high school program, and (4) present recommendations for changes which could insure a better program.
