• The first-ever Randy’s Ranch event was held at the Beutler-Redd Ranch in Canute, Oklahoma on April 27.
• Each year the SWOSU Athletic Auction features unique items and experiences donated by our alumni and friends.

• Former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating was the special guest for the SWOSU President’s Leadership Class (PLC) Banquet on April 10.

• The sold-out Dobson Bulldog Golf Classic was held at Oak Tree National on April 17.

• The SWOSU Foundation, Inc. held its spring meeting last week on the Weatherford campus.

As this issue of Echoes From The Hill reaches you our institution faces a challenge unlike any other in our nearly 120 years of history: the novel corona virus (COVID-19). This global pandemic has necessitated dramatic shifts in how we offer instruction, how we connect to our stakeholders, and how we steward taxpayer and donor resources. History Mysteries: Crowdsourcing To Involve Alumni With Swosu's Institutional Repository, Phillip Fitzsimmons, April Miller

Crowdsourcing is the strategy Southwestern Oklahoma State University Libraries is using to fill in the gaps for many unidentified images in the SWOSU Digital Commons (https://dc.swosu.edu/). A photo gallery was created of some of the repository's unidentified images of persons, events and activities. An intriguing title - "History Mysteries" - was chosen to attract attention, and the page requested help from the public in identifying the unnamed items in the photographs. SWOSU Libraries began promoting the page during he SWOSU Homecoming in 2016, which was the 20th anniversary of winning the NAIA Football Championship. The increased number of alumni visiting …
