The present study was designed to examine the effectiveness of flipped learning strategy in the development of self-learning skills, and academic achievement in the social and national studies course among the first level female students in the secondary stage in Taif city. To achieve this, research instruments were developed after making sure of their validity and reliability. These instruments consisted of an achievement test and a self-learning skills scale. 68 female students participated in this study.
