Industrial Assessment To Technical And Employability Skills Students Based On Kkni (In Jakarta Region), Rina Febriana, Agung Premono, Tuti Iriani

This study aims to determine the industrial assessment of technical and employability skills of students. The research was conducted by using survey method in several industries as the place of the Job Training (PKL) of the students. The research technique used purposive random sampling with respondents in this research consist of 23 industry in Jakarta area. The results of the research are (1) the industrial assessment of the technical skills of the students obtained a score of 73.10 with high interpretation; (2) The industry average rating of employability of students skills is 83.10 with very high interpretation.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of using assessment literacy in a math classroom. This was accomplished by analyzing the test results of students in two different high school Geometry B classes. Both classes were taught the same curriculum, with the same textbook and tests, and by the same teacher. However, assessment literacy techniques were only implemented in one of the two classes. Both classes completed a pre and post-test. The researcher compared the growth of both classes. This study examined the net effects of participating in a residential first-year seminar (FYS) program by comparing the outcomes of participants with those of non-participants at the point of graduation, while controlling for background and pre-college variables. Translanguaging is a view around languages that normalizes diglossia without separation: the linguistic resources of the bilinguals are considered one integrated system. Translanguaging is also a language practice of bilinguals, who select features from their entire linguistic repertoire to make sense of the world around them. Translanguaging is widely used by students and teachers in the bilingual classroom, as it allows students to build upon their entire set of resources, enhance learning outcomes, perform identities, and develop their languages even further. Twenty years ago, in an article entitled “Assigning Grades in Career Planning Courses: A Neglected issue”[1], Rex Filer posed several important questions in terms of the practicalities of how we design and grade career planning courses. The challenge, he suggested, is that while teaching pedagogy often relies on Bloom’s traditional taxonomy where information and understanding act as an ‘anchor’ while synthesis and evaluation are goals achieved later, career course activities are naturally geared to the top of the pyramid – regardless of when the class is taught. This manuscript describes two empirical studies of alternative scoring procedures used with curriculum-based measurement in writing (CBM-W). Study 1 explored the technical adequacy of a trait-based rubric in first grade. Study 2 explored the technical adequacy of a trait-based rubric, production-dependent, and production-independent scores in third grade. Results of Study 1 suggest that the rubric holds promise as a valid measure of sentence writing ability in first grade and has utility as a supplemental scoring procedure when using CBM-W as a screening tool. It used the descriptive method; the population was all science teacher in Alzelfy educational administration in Saudi Arabia (106 teachers); however, the response rate was (38%) of the population. This study describes the development, administration, and results of an exploratory, 30- item instrument to assess aspects of transformative learning attributable to an educational program. The instrument, TRansformative Outcomes and PrOcesses Scale (TROPOS), assesses four subscales associated with transformative learning: criticality, attitude toward uncertainty, social support, and transformative outcomes. Contemporary classification models of school absenteeism often employ a multitier approach for organizing assessment and treatment strategies. Researchers have yet to agree, however, on how to objectively define problematic school absenteeism and identify demarcation points for each tier. The present study aimed to inform a multitier approach by determining the most relevant risk factors for problematic school absenteeism. The most useful targets of assessment for problematic school absenteeism are also addressed.
