This study aimed to analyze the financial performance of the City Government of Bogor for the period of 2010 - 2014. The financial performance analysis is performed using ratio analysis such as the degree of decentralization, the ratio of financial independence, ratio of revenue effectiveness, the ratio of direct expenditure compared to total expenditure, the ratio of indirect expenditure compared to total expenditures, and growth ratios. The purpose of this study is to examine information system success of Accounting Information System based on individual performance and its impact to user satisfaction. The model used in this study is the modified IS Success Model of DeLone and McLean. The study uses primary data and data collection techniques using questionaires distributed to employee of Finance Directorate of University of Indonesia. This study used SEM approach, while analysis used LISREL software. The results showed that system quality and information quality significantly affects the individual performance while the service quality does not affect individual performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of application accounting information system on SMEs performance measurement in Depok region. The number of samples taken were 30 SMEs using purposive sampling method with the critreria listed in the official city of Depok. This research has objective to examine if factors Commitment to Organization, Human Resourses, Communication and Infrastructure influence the success of implemention of accrual basis in preparing local Government financial statement. This is a quantitative approach research which is used questionnaires to respondent research by using linier regression equation for analysis. The result is, only factors commitment and communication influenced the success of implementation process of accrual basis and factors human resources and infrastructure did not influenced the success of implementation.

This research aims to determine the implications of the tax change component in the income tax to the persistence and forecasting of future earnings, and also comparing the effect of tax changes component in initial earning with the tax change component in revised earnings, in order to know which are more persistent. Corporations are facing a more complex and challenging global business environment, and many have implemented a virtual workforce to maintain their competitive advantage through maximizing productivity, reducing product time to market, and cost reduction. The purpose of this qualitative phenomenological study was to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon of virtual leadership, as seen through the eyes of study participants (Merriam, 2009). Participants included fifteen Fortune 500 virtual team leaders who had prior experience leading traditional co-located teams. We aim in this study to explore the interaction between three constructs: leadership style, organisational culture, and organisational learning capacity. In addition to that, we investigated the validity of this trio relationship in both public and private Egyptian universities situated in Greater Cairo area. A quota sampling procedure was used to recruit 298 academicians - 186 from public universities and 112 from private universities. Significant correlations were obtained between transformational and transactional leadership style and organisational learning capacity dimensions. However, the moderating effect of organisational culture in the relationship between leadership styles and organisational learning capacity was not reported. Lastly, …

Effects Of Peer Mentoring On Types Of Mentor Support, Program Satisfaction And Graduate Student Stress: A Dyadic Perspective, Ellen A. Ensher, Elisa J. Grant-Vallone

Examines the effects of a graduate student peer-mentoring program from the perspectives of both members of the mentoring dyad, the mentors and proteges. Results indicate that peer mentoring provides students with both increased levels of psychosocial and instrumental support, and that those with high levels of support are more satisfied with their peer mentoring relationships.

In the era following the First Officer Qualification (FOQ) rule change, regional airlines are struggling to meet hiring needs. Prior to the rule change, pilots were willing to fly for regional airlines at low pay as a stepping-stone to a career at major airlines. Since the rule change, higher minimum qualifications requiring a greater investment for aspiring pilots appear to have impacted the appeal of this career path.
