Individual fraternity and sorority chapters vary greatly at every institution. One bond commonly shared by Greek Life Organizations at all institutions are the misconceptions and realities associated with being affiliated with the Greek system. Some realities may persuade a student to consider joining a Greek organization, while many of the misconceptions may deter a potential new member from even considering Greek life as a worthwhile, or rather safe, option.
