Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kekuatan dan kelemahan 9 soft skills mahasiswa PTB. Penelitian diskriptif ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi PTB dengan menggunakan kuesioner respon. Sampel penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa semester 6. Data dianalisis secara diskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan soft skills mahasiswa PTB secara berturut adalah: kemampuan untuk selalu belajar (72,89%), tanggung jawab (70,77%), kerja sama dalam tim (68,61%), komitmen (67,96%), kreativitas (67,25%), disiplin (64,79%), usaha keras mencapai sukses (62,68%), pemecahan masalah (55,87%), komunikasi (49,90%). Homeless High School Students In America: Who Counts?, John M. Cumming, Gene W. Gloeckner

After interviewing homeless high school students, the research team in a Colorado school district discovered that many students had not revealed their true living conditions (homelessness) to anyone in the school district. This research team developed an anonymous survey written around the homeless categories identified in the McKinney-Vento federal legislation. Results revealed students who identified as homeless for a portion of their high school years in numbers and percentages alarmingly higher than the district had on file. In fact, over 25 times as many homeless students were identified by this process than by the previously-used district system for identifying homelessness. …

Much of what's missing from the discussion of assessing reference services is the dire need to fully realize the value of qualitative assessment. The need for more academic libraries to utilize this method of gathering statistics can open up a much needed discussion concerning the nuanced impact of reference services on student learning outcomes and the broader picture of higher education.

This article examines student life in an Australian rural teachers college. The paper is informed by studies on university student life and extends these to Australia’s first rural teachers college in the period 1945-1955. It explores the diversity of students’ experiences in a small college with predominately female students gradually supplemented by male students. It looks at staff student relations in a college struggling to train teachers for rural Australian towns in the immediate post World War II period. Bully Versus Bullied: A Qualitative Study Of Students With Disabilities In Inclusive Settings, Ida M. Malian Ph.D.
Electronic Journal for Inclusive Education
This qualitative study observed bullying patterns and trends of students with and without disabilities in inclusive settings. The participants were fourth grade students eligible for receiving special education services in inclusive , resource and self-contained settings. Qualitative data were collected while students were in class and during specials and non-academic times. The data suggests that students with disabilities are bullied and are themselves bullies at times. There appeared to be a relationship between personal characteristics and the incidence of bullying.
