The Fact Book presents important campus information in data tables and charts. Included are details regarding students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Carnegie Foundation has classified UNO as a Carnegie Doctoral Research University for our specialized doctoral programs and comprehensive range of master’s degrees and certificates.

  • In addition, UNO has achieved the prestigious elective classification for “Community Engagement” by the Carnegie Foundation. The “Community Engagement” classification describes the level of collaboration between institutions of higher education and their larger communities for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources.

Administrative-site reporting counts students enrolled in UNO programs only (including the CPACS programs delivered in Lincoln).

The purpose of this study was to determine (a) individual student achievement, (b) teacher mobility rates, (c) perceptions of safety at school, and (d) student enrollment patterns, over time, in two recently renovated, same city, urban, No Child Left Behind compliant, Title I elementary school buildings located in close proximity neighborhoods one with improving the other with declining economic conditions.
