Resolved that the portion of all Faculty Senate Resolutions (#04, 08, 1999-2000 and #01, 2000-2001) that instituted the competency testing in writing and mathematics as a graduation requirement for all students be hereby repealed and the further implementation of these examinations be terminated.

Practical components from SWO 331-Experiential Learning have been infused into service learning activities of existing social work courses. Separate degree in accounting to ultimately replace the current 120-hour BS in Accounting and complement the initial proposed 150-hour degree with Computer Inforation Systems emphasis. The impetus is New York’s new law requiring a minimum of 150 college credit hours to take the Certified Public Accountant examination. This degree should be effective in attracting higher-parameter students and employers/recruiters to the College.
