The study assessed students' perceptions about the Master of Agriculture in professional agriculture (ProAg) program that is offered off-campus. It also provides information regarding the number of graduate students who enrolled in this program and are now working in agriculture related occupations. Alumni of the program provided feedback regarding the content of the ProAg program in agriculture. It serves as an analysis tool for assessing the effectiveness of the ProAg program in the College of Agriculture at Iowa State University. Hospitality management and dietetics students, employers, and futurists have indicated that leadership skills, abilities, and qualities are important for success. Educators have stressed the importance of developing leadership skills and behaviors in students. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to assess self-reported leadership behaviors and practices of hospitality management and dietetics undergraduate students.;Leadership questionnaires, including the Student Leadership Practices Inventory developed by Posner and Brodsky, were mailed to program directors at eight universities. Saudi Arabia and Tucson, Arizona are both surrounded by desert and rely on groundwater. Both places also suffer from similar types of water shortage problems. The average water usage, in gallons per person per day, in Tucson is 160. In contrast, in Saudi Arabia this figure is 260. Respectively, these factors encouraged the researcher to investigate the educational roles in Tucson. This dissertation illustrates how Q Methodology was used to solve a problem of low enrollment in a dairy herd genetic registry project in Uruguay to better understand the reasons why many farmer producers declined to participate. The results of Q Methodology led to a more satisfying understanding of the needs, interests, and values of non-participants in this agricultural extension project. The purpose of this study was to determine similarities and differences in students' perceptions towards learning in two senior-level farm management experientially based capstone courses, similar in content, but vastly different in delivery and teaching methods.
